Hunan Chendian Int'l Dev't gets RMB 500 mln funds and financingPublished: 16 Apr 2009 00:37:51 PST<p class="authorInfor"]</p]<!--begin CK content--]<P]Apr. 16, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hunan Chendian International Development Share-Holding Ltd Co<600969>, a Chinese electricity company, today announced that it has obtained RMB 500 million in funds and funding for the rural electricity network modification project, sources reported.</P]<P]According to the announcement, the company will receive a grant of RMB 100 million from the state and RMB 400 million worth of loans from Agricultural Bank of China (ABC).</P]<P]Recently, the company also received a grant of RMB 65 million from the local bureau of finance for the same project. </P]<P]Last week, the company released its annual report for fiscal year 2008, showing a net loss of RMB 199 million, whereas the company earned a net profit of RMB 51.55 million in 2007. The company's revenue decreased 7.54% from a year earlier to about RMB 1.25 billion in 2008.<BR]</P]
