Dec. 23, 2008 (China Knowledge) - Prices of luxury cars are declining by as much as RMB 100,000 in Beijing, according to the state media CCTV. </p]
The report said luxury car dealers in Beijing are seeing few buyers than expected during the season, which used to be a good time for premium car sales.</p]
In Beijing's major auto markets, the price of the 2008 Audi A6 2.8 sedan has decreased by nearly RMB 80,000 from last month. And the new 2009 Audi A6 also dropped by RMB 40,000. </p]
However, despite all the sales promotions, some consumers are still taking "a wait-and-see attitude" in the hope of further price cuts.</p]
