TEDA 2008 GDP hits RMB 106.5 blnPublished: 07 Jan 2009 00:00:00 PST<p class="authorInfor"]</p]<!--begin CK content--]<P]Jan. 7, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Zone (TEDA) posted its GDP for the year 2008 rose 23.1% to RMB 106.5 billion, maintaining the leading position among all other national-level economic development zones.</P]<P]The gross industrial output value increased to RMB 373 billion, up 11.3% year on year. Meanwhile, TEDA's fiscal revenue also grew 14.4% to RMB 25.6 billion, said He Shushan, director of the Administrative Committee of TEDA.</P]<P]Despite the negative impacts of the global financial crisis, most of the enterprises in TEDA have been in normal operations, with 185 projects to be started soon.<BR]</P]
